Project
The ReSITex project initiative stands out by bringing together partners from diverse regions—Europe, Asia, and Africa—to drive the green transition in textile industries. The project is set to create a tailored training program for public officials in Bangladesh and Ethiopia, designed to accelerate the green transition of their respective country and for global textile sector. This collaborative effort, involving Bangladesh and Ethiopia in the southern hemisphere and Sweden in the northern hemisphere, is assured to present a compelling model in the worldwide textile landscape. The training program’s comprehensive approach ensures that textile public sector officials gain an understanding of sustainable practices and global initiatives of green transition. By addressing the knowledge gap, the ReSITex project aims to reshape the policy landscape by training three different levels of textile public sector workers e.g. administrators for policy making, executives for coordinating and implementing and R&D officials for scientific development. The trained officials will be able to positively influence the decisions of relevant sectors in their country and globally. They will be trained and encouraged to built-up and maintain future collaborations to thus to sustain the results of this project in long run.
